Lee Newell
Mr. Lee E. Newell has been in the real estate business for 36 years. Having lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 24 of his first 28 years and being in the the real estate development business there for his entire business career, Mr. Newell is well versed in the ways of Bay Area real estate. After graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1970, he went on to recieve his J.D. Degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1975, followed by an L.L.M. Masters in Taxation Degree from the New York University School of Law, Graduate Division, in 1977.
Mr. Newell, through his wholly owned corporation New Cities Land Company, Inc. ("New Cities"), is currently the Managing Member of Bay Area Property Developers, LLC, and New Cities Investment Partners, LLC, which are engaged in acquiring, entitling, and developing prime infill properties in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.
Mr. Newell currently lives in Carmel Valley, CA, with his wife, Kathy, and occasionally is host to some of his 6 adult children and 11 grandchildren. His interests include, first and foremost, his wife and family, sports of all kinds, but especially basketball having played at UCLA and coached at Robert Louis Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, and tennis, as he is a founding member of Pasadera Country Club and Carmel Valley Ranch, and a member of the La Quinta Tennis Club. Mr Newell and his wife have for decades consulted with, raised funds for, and donated to Robert Louis Stevenson School and other schools on the Monterey Peninsula. When time allows, Mr. Newell enjoys time in the California Desert and traveling throughout the world.

Blake Peters
Mr. Blake Peters has worked in nearly every facet of real estate development over the past 20 years, including acquisition, entitlements, finance, site design, and construction management. His extensive network of contacts in the affordable housing, home building, and senior care industries allows for a collaborative, team approach to larger development projects.
Mr. Peters' professional background includes his current roles as Partner in New Cities Investment Partners, LLC, Vice President of Bay Area Property Developers, LLC, and President of Miramonte Development, Inc. His previous roles included Director of Acquisitions for MidPen Housing, Director of Consulting Services for Prudential Land and Commercial, Project Developer for Eden Housing, Land Acquisition Manager for John Laing Homes, and Project Manager for New Cities Development Group. His construction experience includes 3 years as a Construction Superintendent overseeing mid-rise podium apartments and luxury condominiums. Mr. Peters graduated from University of California at Davis with a B.S. Degree in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning, with an emphasis in Land Use Planning. Mr. Peters has served on the Board of Directors for the North State Building Industry Association, the Site Selection Committee for HomeAid, and the Advisory Board for the CA Infill Builders Council.

Travers Newell
Mr. Travers Newell is no stranger to the world of real estate having realized his interest at an early age growing up in the same household as his father, Lee Newell. As part of the graduating class of 2009 from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA, Mr. Newell received a degree in business management with a minor in marketing. He went on to work for a web technologies company in Los Angeles, CA, where he developed many web related skills such as link building, search engine optimization, and web design. After moving back to Monterey County, CA, Mr. Newell worked for Sierra Instruments, a high tech manufacturing company based in Monterey with factories in The Netherlands, China, India, and the UK, providing world wide distribution. There he was a product manager and worked closely with both the engineering and marketing departments to successfully develop and launch new products.
Now a Vice President at New Cities Investment Partners, LLC, Mr. Newell is currently working on The Sands Apartments, a 388 unit garden style apartment complex located in Palm Desert, CA. At the same time he is a candidate for the UCLA Certificate of Real Estate Development. Mr. Newell brings a dynamic set of skills along with a young fresh outlook to every project, a combination that has proved to be very insightful.
